Now I got the game the day it came out but I never played it that much. I bought it at the same time as the Star Wars DVD box set and I had bought the Sims 2 the week before so I never really got into it,but last night I thought what the hell. So I put the game in my Playstation 2, and hooked up the headset (which I had yet to use) and
went online and let me tell you. I'm convinced that none of the other players were going to be cure cancer anytime in the future.

My with my first online game. I encounters someone who couldn't stop laughing and I just wanted to shoot him just to shut him up. What was the deal here.

Now my second experence that night, i had a guy who had to hum the music in the game. I MEAN COME ON HERE. I'm not looking for eternal wisdom but I don't want to hear DUM DUM DE DUM DUM DE DUM DUM DE DEM from some dumb guy.

It wasn't until later that night I found some more serious players and they did make the experince pleasant but I shouldn't have to go through all this crap to find someone with half a brain.

One more thing. Since when should I have to download a patch to play a PS2 game? My memory card can only hold so much crap. This is unexcuseable in my opinion.The memeory card only hold 8MB and that space should not be used for GAME PATCHES.

Right now I believe that Nintendo is going to go the same way as Sega, become a third party developer. Now all the hardcore Mario fans are screaming at me, cursing my name and calling for my death, but it’s Nintendo that has chosen to seal its own faith.

Nintendo used to be a leader and it has done well in the past with a solid plan. The problem is that the market has changed and Nintendo is still relying on the old plan. It’s usually companies that refuse to change to meet the new demands of its consumers that end up collapsing and going bankrupt.

A perfect example was the N64. At that time Sony and Sega has adopted the CD format while Nintendo choose to stay with a cartridge based media. It was because of this, that Nintendo lost Square Soft to Sony and it appears that Nintendo still hasn’t learned it lesson. The latest version of the Game Boy Advance is a retro version, FEATURING OLD GAMES.

Now there are people who are saying that they are coming up with new ideas, yeah right, like turning Metroid in a First Person Shooter, what an innovative ideas. Who ever heard of such a concept? Oh and don’t forget the bongo’s. We can’t play any Nintendo games online but we got BONGOS.

It seems to me that Nintendo is playing catch-up a lot and with Sony deciding to get into the handheld market, things are only going to get worse for Nintendo. Personally I hope Nintendo goes get its shit together and starts to become a success again but with crap like Pokemon Channel being leased, I doubt it.

Alright. Now I make this post with fear and trepidation because I’ve seen indications that Blogger is going nuts Oh well.

As I mentioned before, I play in the e-mail RPG and because of certain people who have asked if I had a picture of my character (I’m no Larry Elmore people), so I’ve been searching the Internet for an accurate picture and I'd thought I'd show them off.


This is Nene and she's a direct rip off the an anime series called Bubble Crisis. She about 17 and she's more of a hacker and can be very a very emotional person. Right now she's very concerned about her sister Priss (In the campaign, I made Priss and Nene sisters) because some goon from her past has shown up and gotten her hooked on some slap patch drug that is so addictive that the withdrawal pains would kill.



This guy is named Kurt Landers but his code name is StarStryke (Yeah that the guy in my bio pic). He's a member of a Canadian superhero team called Alpha Flight. Currently thought he's trapped in the future, during the 2099 Time line (It was comics universe that Marvel Created int the late 80's and early 90's. Anyway Kurt takes his responsibilities a little too seriously. He has this mindset that if he fails then all is lost so refuses to fail.

Sheila Romalotti has done a lot lately. She was an engineering student who's family was killed so that some mafia family could take over her family's Jewelry business. After being forced to drop out of school, she survived as a waitress in a greasy spoon diner. One day she was found some mafia types who thought she was dead as well and went after her. While she was running, she ran into The Punisher and the goons behind her were killed. After The Punisher refused to take her own as an apprentice, she went out on her own to get revenge. Recently she fell in love with a vampiric Lora Dane, who then (at her request) transformed her into a vampire herself. Now as an undead avenger of scum. Blood Moon watches the street.

Finally this is Lady Scarlet. Now I spoke about her in a previous post. She's beautiful, intelligent, rich, cold and sometimes very brutal. She takes what she wants and damn everyone else. She trusts very few people and she has learned that the few people who she chooses to trust can still turn their backs on you so she has become even more cautious in who she confided in.

Lately she has become interesting in a young gifted boy who can build incredible things in a very short time. This person is attracted to her and she finds him interesting as well since he wants nothing that she hadn't already given him. All he wants are resources to build things and she has already given these things to him so he can create inventions that she can sell and make money. So Jimmy's interest in her is genuine and she hasn't encountered that before. She has always been viewed as a conquest or a evil bitch by all except for a few people.

Remember the hype that occured when the Hard Drive came out for the Playstation 2? Remember them talking about how it would be used with all these different games? All I have to say is that I'm glad that I never bought the damn thing.

What games other than Final Fantasy XI have used the thing? None and now Grand Turismo 4 won't have any online support. That thing was a waste of money to whoever bought the damn thing.

Oh though I did try out the Eye Toy today and I found it kind of fun. So the Network Adapter and the Eye Toy are cool, the Hard Drive sucks

As I said before, I've gotten interesting in this e-mail RPG group centered around the X-men universe. Anyway I have this character named Lady Scarlet. Now, she's was born on a fictitious south east Asian island named Madripoor but her heritage is British. Her family came from Great Britain in the 1800's and and laid the foundations to what would become a criminal empire (Picture Hong Kong on a island, but only with more money and far more dangerous).

Anyway right now Scarlet (as she wishes to be called) is a little upset. Her best friend Tam wants to leave again and she thinks (and she's probably right) that she would never see her again. The only way that she got Tam to come back the first time was to kidnap her and she wasn't happy about that. In fact, she went into a blinding rage but they managed to work things out.

Anyway Tam is leaving (again) and this time Sheila (her other friend, I'll talk about Sheila in another post) is leaving as well so she's going to be alone. Though she's putting on a false front (she's very good at hiding her emotions), she is actually very sad. She lives in a luxury penthouse overlooking the city but she cannot leave for fear of her enemies striking at her. (Did I mention that she's a crime lord?)

She has this fear because that what she would do. She's only 24 and she knows how to be ruthless and disregard her morals in the name of business. In fact she killed her own father on her 21st birthday to gain her power, though she killed him for the sake of revenge for him killing her mother 10 years earlier (it was the 10th anniversary of her death), not to gain control of the 'family business'

Anyway Scarlet is hot young blond who happens to be a telepath and have telekinetic abilities. She well educated with a MBA and runs her empire from her home so she rarely see's anyone but loyal servants, social climbers and power hungry low lives.

At least until recently, when a young man named Jimmy came into her life. Now Jimmy, only power is the ability to create and design mechanical devices quickly (see Forge of the X-men universe) . Anyway, Scarlet is setting up a shop for him in Las Vegas (where he live) to work on projects for her and she intends to make a lot of money from his abilities, though money has never been an issue with this guy.

Actually he's fallen in love with Scarlet and she knows it, on top that, she knows that he really cares of her and doesn't want power or money or anything and having someone want Scarlet for being herself and not a wealthy crime lord has her totally blown away, he even asked her what her real name was. Anyway they ended up in bed together and that's why Tam is mad and had decided to leave. At first she was going to leave with Jimmy but he said that he wanted to stay so Tam is leaving on her own and Scarlet is upset.

Anyway this RPG is rather heavy on the role play and I will talk about it again very soon but time forced to me end this entry, so cya.

Alright as people who have visited my main blog know, I usually talk about different subjects, my opinions and my thoughts but I really don't talk about my life, my likes and dislikes, its usually insights of how I see the world. Originally I was going to talk about things like video game reviews but now I decided, what's the point? Instead I'll just talk like the geek that I really am (though I don't live in my parents basement). Besides my heart wasn't into that as people could tell by that last post.

So yesterday I submitted a character for this Marvel E-mail RPG. I've been playing with one group but I've decided to try a different group and see how things are. Its run by the guy who mods the first group but there are a lot less people in this one. Perhaps its the elite group and I was let in Woo Hoo. Anyway the character I created is name Liz (you do really need her full name?) and she's a 16 year old goth chick who happens to be a lesbian and a mutant(X-men type mutant, not the fleshy headed type). I looking forward to playing her and if your interested, she looks like Death from DC's vertigo's universe. I'm not sure if she's going to be a nice girl or nasty but I have decided that she doesn't trust men at all.

Anyway I have to get going but I promise that I will post on a regular basis now. On par with my main blog.
