Catholic School Principal: Thou Shalt Not Blog...

Students can be suspended for a lot of odd reasons these days- but a principal at a Catholic high school in New Jersey, has added another offense to the list: having a blog.

Bill Gates: "Google is our main competitor..."

"We are not afraid of Google, but there is intense competition between us. Google is our main competitor, brilliant people work there, but Internet search engines are still in a terrible state compared to where they could be," Gates was quoted as saying in the Israeli daily Yediot Ahronot.

Apple updates homepage for Rosa Parks

Apple has updated its home page to commemorate the life of Rosa Parks. It now features the infamous picture of her on the montgomery bus as the boycott ended. It also features a page about Rosa Parks in Apple's hot news section when you click on the picture.

I know this isn't about Geekdom or Tech but instead this is something far more important. Being brave enough to take a stand when you know your right and someone else is wrong. I applaud Apple for doing this. Yes indeed, Think Different.

Oh and expect this to possibly appear on my normal blog.
